Interactive Results Portal Provides User-Friendly Formats

(Redwood City, CA) Mark Church, Chief Elections Officer & Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder, announced today that the Registration & Elections Division will start posting election results for the July 23, 2024 City of Millbrae Special Recall Election at 8:10 p.m. on Election Night. To view the results, visit smcvote.gov and select "Get Election Results."

Election Night Results Release Schedule:

  • 8:10 p.m.

The results will include Vote by Mail ballots received by mail through July 23, 2024 and those returned at Vote Centers and Drop Boxes by July 22, 2024.

  • Between 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Results include all Vote Center ballots.

The post-election day results will be released before 4:30 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Friday, July 26, 2024
  • Wednesday, July 31, 2024

 Additional updates will be provided if needed. The results will be certified on August 22, 2024.

 The Results Portal is an interactive reporting system that includes:

  • Results reporting (user can filter by contest)  
  • Vote totals for each contest broken down by Vote Center and Vote by Mail
  • Voter Turnout (mapped by precinct)
  • Reports (in csv and pdf formats)

The Registration & Elections Division will send email alerts to interested members of the public as new results are posted online. To sign up, visit smcvote.gov, select “Sign Up to Receive Election Night Result Notices by Email” under “July 23, 2024 City of Millbrae Special Recall Election,” or call/text 650.312.5222.

Voting Period Began on June 24, 2024 and Ends on July 23, 2024 
Registered voters in Millbrae City Council Districts 2 and 4 were mailed their ballots in late June.
